At the Culinary Connection, we believe that by investing in the development of culinary talent we not only elevate the Cedar Valley's culinary landscape but also empower individuals to thrive in the dynamic world of food service management and entrepreneurship. Our Approach
This advanced apprenticeship program allows individuals to learn on the job while earning a wage in conjunction with classroom time.
An apprentice will either be hired on with AllyCatz GrubHouse and FireHouse Pizzas and Wings here in Denver, Iowa or our program offers the ability for other employers to partner with us.
Why?
During our time in the restaurant/hospitality industry we have seen businesses come and go. There is continued difficulty in attracting high level employees to run and operate the businesses in the Cedar Valley. Our purpose of creating this apprenticeship program was to develop talent and teach individuals the entrepreneurship side of what we do in our industry. By increasing the knowledge and skills of our culinarians, our hope is to provide the Cedar Valley with more thriving businesses and the current businesses to excel in what they do.
